IS7 Game Account Security: Protect Your Access

Keeping control of an account takes more than remembering a password. Protect the phone you use, check where requests come from, and keep recovery information out of messages and screenshots.

Keep credentials separate

IS7 uses a phone number and password for account access. A password reused elsewhere means a problem with another service can also put this account at risk. Choose a unique password and store it securely, rather than keeping it in an ordinary chat or a screenshot gallery.

A password manager can help retain unique credentials. Protect the manager itself with its recommended security settings. The aim is to avoid relying on the same memorable password everywhere, not to make account details easier for other people to find.

Look after the device and registered number

Use a screen lock and keep control of the phone number attached to your account. Someone with access to an unlocked phone may also be able to read messages or use accounts that are already signed in.

Before lending or replacing a device, check which sessions remain open. Use the app’s sign-out option where available. If you no longer control the registered number, ask the provider about its account-update process rather than assuming a new registration will transfer the account.

Recognise an unusual request

  • An unsolicited message asks you to reveal a password or verification code.
  • A stranger wants you to install a remote-control app to fix your account.
  • A message pressures you to act immediately while discouraging you from checking through your usual channel.
  • A support conversation moves to a new address or account that you cannot verify independently.

If you suspect someone else has access

Stop sharing information through the suspicious conversation. From a device you trust, use the provider’s account-security or password-change options if available, and report the unexpected activity through its established support route.

Keep the time, relevant message and any account reference, but do not forward passwords or one-time codes. If you cannot sign in, follow the recovery guidance on the login page. A support report should describe what changed, not expose the secret used to access the account.
